WELCOME TO PLATTEKILL MOUNTAIN, the last family-run ski mountain in the Catskills and one of the few remaining in New York state.

At Plattekill we provide an authentic alpine experience that has become few and far between in today’s changed ski industry landscape and it’s what makes a day at our mountain so different.

With the heart of skiing and riding at our core, our mission is focused on providing the joy of skiing, diverse terrain, and quality service. We offer 41 exciting trails to choose from, from 2 mile long beginner cruisers to steep double black diamonds with 1100′ of vertical drop. There’s something for everyone.

Our Snowsports School is world-class with talented teachers ready to share their love of skiing and snowboarding and our rental shop techicians are ready to set you up with just the right equipment!

Whether you like to spend the day whizzing down the slopes or you prefer being tucked inside sipping hot cocoa in our ski lodge, the experience is just as authentic as the one on the mountain. Enjoy live entertainment, a full bar, delicious homemade foods from our cafe and Skier’s Bistro and woodstoves and fireplaces that will keep you toasty warm!
