The Roxbury Arts Group

For more than forty years, the Roxbury Arts Group has been a cultural anchor for the Western Catskills. RAG was built on the belief that artists and artisans are essential to who we are. From working musicians and painters to potters, artisans printmakers, and performers, creative people have always been part of the fabric of Delaware County. RAG celebrates that tradition, supports the artists who carry it forward, and works to ensure that the arts remain accessible to everyone, because a community where the arts thrive is a community that thrives.

Our stages host world-class musical acts, ranging from traditional roots and folk to contemporary classical and global sounds as well as live theater and independent film screenings.

We manage two active gallery spaces that introduce our audiences to innovative visual arts. A series of rotating exhibitions celebrate diverse mediums, balancing the work of esteemed regional masters with fresh voices from across the contemporary art world.

Creativity is a lifelong pursuit. We offer accessible, hands-on educational programming for all ages—ranging from youth summer arts camps to technical masterclasses in traditional crafts, design, and multi-media arts.
